TQ Society

The TQ Society has been established as the premier gift society at Wells Cathedral School, honouring the school's first and only Life President, the late David Tudway Quilter.

Mrs. Elizabeth Tudway Quilter has accepted the role of Honorary Patron of the Society.

Membership is automatically granted to all providing a gift of £5,000 in one sum or over a period of up to five years. A one-off gift of £1,000 entitles membership for one year. In all cases a small brochure outlining the significance of the Society will be provided to members and a certificate of membership and lapel pin will be granted to all committing to a cumulative gift of £5,000. As a period of membership ends, members will be invited to consider renewing their membership ongoing.

Members will enjoy an annual dinner at School and a special briefing by the Head regarding the progress and purpose of the school. In early years this dinner may be conjoined with the dinners planned for Foundation Fellows and Council of Advisors members.
